DR. AMIRA ALI IBRAHIM

Dr. Amira Ali Ibrahim received her medical degree from the Faculty of medicine, University of Khartoum, Sudan. She completed her Internship and residency in Internal medicine at Howard university hospital (Washington, D.C.). She then proceeded to complete her Gastroenterology fellowship at the same facility. She joined the staff faculty at Howard University as well as ran her solo practice, Northern Virginia Gastroenterology and Hepatology, LLC., in Alexandria, Virginia for two year. She also practiced in several other locations in Washington, DC, and Virginia. She comes to our practice with international experience where she practiced for five years in Saudi Arabia. She is board certified in Gastroenterology. She is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association. She manages a variety of Gastrointestinal issues but has a special interest in liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease and functional GI disorders. In her spare time Dr. Ibrahim loves reading, art and craft work, volunteering with the local community, and swimming with her children. She is a proud mother of four beautiful children.
